"So Hard" By Rachael Williamson

"So Hard" By Rachael Williamson

I’m trying so hard to suppress it

But it’s getting worse by the minute.

My anger rate is escalating

And I need to tame it.

My happiness is depreciating.

I need to cool within me, this heat.

I’m trying hard to control my speech,

So, to myself, I do beseech.

My smiles have faded

And my joy is one

My laughter has fled.

I need to leave and let this be bygone.
