"LOVER" By Rachael Williamson

"LOVER" By Rachael Williamson

Along the aisle of elegance

With charisma of regal ambience

You walk.

Captured, have you my eyes

Entrapped, have you my feet

As by your lighting, have I been struck

Are you a god, O lover of beauty?

For the daystar itself,

From you, its grandeur hides.

With a height tall like a giant oak tree

And arms strong like pillars,

Who dares challenge you?

With your crescent smile

And pomegranate-coloured lips,

You tempt me.

If rivers be love

Through eternity would you swim

O lover of love, lover of beauty

As in you I am lost

And beg not to be found
