"Strange LOVE" by Rachael Williamson

If bestowed with a might so great…

…a masterpiece would I sculpt you

Like a potter would I mold each curve

And craft each edge with my knowing hands

… a tale would I tell of you and me,

Of our affair which I hold dear

With a melody of sweet nothings

…a song would I sing

Of our history’s tales with a love so real

It was first felt in a kiss

Which settled into a gentle teary cuddle

…a tune would I hum

Of a forbidden love scarred by love’s poison

And shot by Cupid’s arrow…

…as I am conferred neither might nor power

To my wishes have I been made subject

That I shall daydream if I may
