"You" By Rachael Williamson

"You" By Rachael Williamson

Into space, I stare,

For my head is filled with thoughts of you.

On green grass, I lie,

For my mind is filled with memories of you.

On hills and vales,

I run Just trying to lift off the burden.

Yes, the burden thrown on me by you.

Night and day, I walk aimlessly

All because of you.

Estranged I have become to myself

Since you gave me no reason to live,

For you took away my happiness.

Now, I have no clue of who I am

Since all of my emotions, you took away.

What can I do to regain my mortal self?

For I need to be whole again.

Indeed, I must shatter all memories of you,

For I need to be whole again.
